56k dial-up upload to server
Simple question really.
Would a 56k dial-up connection have enough oomph to send one 24k stream to a server? |

I would say yes it would. If you're upload is 28K though it may struggle, but I have never tested it. If you're on 56K both ways (download and upload) then it should have no probs.

K...yes...in theory it should be possible.
Anyone ever try it? How did it go? |

I have broadcasted at 24kbps on a 56K before, but I used a local instance of the DNAS and setup a public instance of the DNAS on a remote server to relay the local instance (this adds an additional buffer (DSP -> local DNAS -> remote DNAS)). I'm not sure how it would have gone had I gone DSP -> Remote DNAS.
