My friend has a cable modem ...and he once gave me his Ip adress to set it up. The thing is im lost..he dosn't have a password or anything. Can someone please help me to set it up or can I even do this? please ...thank you Dj Unkle J

Your friend needs to setup the DNAS.
When configuring your Winamp/DSP combo, use their ip as the server address. Check out the Sticky post titled: SHOUTcast: Important Info & Answers to FAQs. READ ME! Scroll down a bit and look for the section titled: How to Setup a Live Audio Stream -> How to set up an Internet Radio station How to Setup a Live Audio Stream -> 15 Steps to setting up SHOUTcast Additionally, check out HeatRadio's thread, A Basic Guide To Shoutcasting |
