um... Gateway 2 wire? is that thinnet?
anyway
station/computer (IP: 67.34.61.71:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection refused)
means you are using a fireall or something of that nature, that is blocking the port "8000" that you set!
read the FAQ's in the tech support forum, about working with a firewall.

See if this helps:

The DNAS tells the SHOUTcast yp (yellow pages) that you are streaming.
The yp, in turn, verifies your stream.
In your case, the yp cannot connect to your stream to verify so you will not be listed in the SHOUTcast yp directory at http://www.shoutcast.com

Are the necessary ports open in your firewall and are they being forwarded to the DNAS machine?

Check out http://www.radiotoolbox.com/cantheygetin and see if the reported information there helps.

The 2wire router is another attempt at user freindlyness which seems to be doing nothing more than screwing around with the real functionality of the object-model that is supposed to be part of the entire networking genius of Microsoft's "vision". I have been trying to resolve this issue myself for two weeks and am ready to give up.

whatismyipaddress.com returns 65.31.164.123 as the address of my home pc. This is incorrect. 65.31.164.123 is the address of my remote pc. When I am succesfully streaming from WinAmp to my own server at 172.16.1.33 which is my correct ip address, Shout cast responds that it can not find me at 65.31.164.123. If this is the case, yp should not respond at all.

2Wire's documetation does not address the issue of port pushing and will not allow you to configure much of anything. These users who are crying for help and mentioning 2WIRE ROUTER will need some personal attention. It is not enough to divert their attentions to previous posts or sticky notes any more. 2Wire is an individual manufacturer and their user interface is completely unique and total CRAP. Now, all BS aside, I know enough about this subject to have cracked this wide open after two weeks of burning the candle at both ends. Let's get a little more organized. Is anybody reading this?
