Question about DNAS log

In the SC log, entries like below appear (duh!)

..connection closed (109510 seconds) (UID: 46)[L: 2]{Bytes: 544339077}(P: 1)

All pretty self explaining, but what does the (P: 1) mean?
Values I have seen are 0/1/2/4...

That is the relative position of the listener. Think of it as slot based.

Example:
Listener 1 comes in and gets p:0
Listener 2 comes in and gets p:1
Listener 3 comes in and gets p:2
Listener 2 quits and frees p:1
Listener 4 comes in and gets p:1
Listener 5 comes in and gets p:3
etc.

Thanks festerhead for the quick reply.

I can't verify your example, from what I see in my logs the allocation is not sequential but a bit more random e.g. first listener getting P:4.
P:3 doesn't appear anywhere in my log although I just saw it in another server's log.

Anyway, the "slot" concept is satisfactory for me

I guessed based on observations.
