This has been in development for a while...although i'm starting to run out of ideas. Thats where you come in ^.~

I could use a few ideas for the 'lcd' areas - for example how to set everything out lol - and also a few ideas for the playlist. Plus any ideas for details I could use on th emain player...basically...any ideas are welcome ones

I'm dead set on finishing this one, no matter what. Even if it takes me the next year - im gonna do it, cos i'm sick and tired of not finishing projects I start.

So...tell me what you think?

Nice. I really like the soft tones.

I think less would be more when it comes to an lcd on a skin like this, keep it simple and clean.

LCD-wise, I recommend areas of bold colour (darker than the background LCD colour) with details set in the current LCD colour. So light-on-dark-on-light. And curvy edges where possible. When I say dark I don't mean by much. keep it subtle so the frame doesn't appear to be conpeting with the LCD for attention.

Ooo! I likes it! The border's quite unique and I like the colour scheme. The main titlebar needs a bit more shading, though.

As for lcd ideas, I have none. Sorry. I'm quite tempted to suggest trying something other than an lcd, but my that's because my brain is skewed. I see something theatre/stage like in this skin. I also think I see something pseudo-Victorian in this skin too, but I can't even begin to explain that one. Have you tried different (corresponding) colours in the dark purple areas? Perhaps doing that would suggest alternate textures.

But an lcd wouldn't be bad. I agree with Atmo - don't go overboard.

The Main titlebar needs less shading.

Glad you put the spikey-dikeleys back in. Whoa, that sounded wrong. Uhm - not much else to say. You haven't updated on this much.

I like the lines on the sides of the EQ bars.

The LCD looks fine to me. Maybe some more shading (unlike the titlebar), but overall, looks goodars.

Keep it up. This Kyaela project's coming along well.

o m f g - simply go to the skins section on this site, download a skin...then double-click the .wsz file (the skin you downloaded), it should automatically go onto your winamp..if you have it installed.

Did you want the eq-bars to go *through* that semi transparent thing? In that case you should give them more contrast or darken them, right now their colour is too washed out and they seem to be under the thing... if you know what I mean.

Have you considered making the skin less symmetrical? not too much, maybe just change one of those comma-shaped things in the main or something like that.

Looks like it is teh best. I suggest you use the plastic covering thing on the Main, too, so it doesn't look too out of place...

Cleanup: Only just started on the main part

- the purple/greay block was jus so I could line things up properly

flatmatt: its jus a basic eq bar, the 'plastic cover' was jus somethin i used to make the eq + main seem less bland..plus I used somethin similar (or tried to) in the original kyaela (i should have a working version soon anyway)

Lol, still trying to figure out a way to do the cbuttons...tried two different ways so far...one with the hatch type thing, and another with a round button underneath a white cover...
its really hard lol.

(wish I'd done em first like I usually do instead of leaving em...:S)
