Test Broadcast 5-2... 3 P.M EDT

I'm doing a test of my stream to iron out whatever needs to be ironed out. I have a 3 hour program ready to go...an hour (or so) of which I'll be streaming today.
My upload speed just tested out at 533kbps......So although I'd love to put out at 128K.....I'm gonna try 64k.....which might be pushing it too...if I want more than a small handful of listeners.
Some things that I'd like to know are........ http://209.6.158.244:8000/ or http://209.6.158.244:8000/listen.pls
....Will either of them work as a clickable? If anyone has Real Player...will this stream work in it..by entering into File-Location?
Any & all feedback (before...during & after)will of course be deeply appreciated. (First timer here).

You're using SimpleServer so the listen.pls will not work. So users can just click a link and the audio will play in there player of choice either create a .pls that points to the URL you posted or use the SHOUTcast DNAS.

With SimpleServer both of those links will start them stream, so if you click the link in a browser you get gibberish. To play it in a player we would need to copy and paste the URL into our player.
If you made a playlist that pointed to that URL and hosted on a webserver and used that link instead then our player would pop open and play your stream.
If you were to ditch SimpleServer and go with the SHOUTcast DNAS you could just use: http://IP:PORT/listen.pls and our player would open and play the stream.

Well...I ran sort of an "invitation only' broadcast for some friends.......discovered that http://hotsytotsy.no-ip.info:8000/ was clickable to open up Winamp & connect to the stream for some...& others had to manually enter that in the player. Haven't the foggiest why it would work for some...& not work for others.
Also......in one case....MMJB, set up as the default player for Shoutcast streams.... didn't work. I don't know that much about Music Match to know if there's a manual method for it as well.
