AVI stuff

control not just the speed, but the direction frames are played in (ie backwards or forwards)

choose to jump to a frame on beat,

maybe even make it slightly dynamic, so that you can use specdata to control the speed of the playback.

sorry if you think this is a gay request, but you could make some seriously cool presets with these things.

The pixel player gives you that kind of control. You can get it from the APE thread.
