Please can someone help me with this. Ive been trying to broadcast via the line input in winamp through a shoutcast server. The problem is that shoutcast fails to recognise there is any music playing but i can clearly hear it through my pc and can record perfectly. Ive searched the forums for the answer but i cant seem to find anything. I only have one soundcard in my pc aswell just incase thats a problem!
Some one must know the answer please help
Cheers!

don't use linein:// instead change the input to soundcard in the dsp plugin window.

well in that case just use linerec:// the linerec plugin is somewhere on the shoutcast site I think, if not check the plugins section of this site. If not google it. I am sure it's on the net somewhere.

i want to know if there is a way to configure the linein:// tool to work with shoutcast because I have tempo controllers, as well as audio limiters that I use to make the audio sound better and I'm using an automation program for the music, but i use shoutcast via winamp, and want to know if there is any way to use that linein feature to still be able to use those plugins...anyone?

LineIn plugin, by Jasper v/d Gronde:

Line Recording plug-in (for SHOUTcast), by Nullsoft:

The standard line in plug is not processed by DSP or Output plug-ins. Only sampled for visualizations.
