Intro File Not Working!?
I need help:
I am trying to get an intro file to play on our station - it's not working...here's the scoop: Mandrak Linux 9.1 running shoutcast server and SC_tools from same box - intro file is same bitrate, samplerate, and source (mono). when I launch the player, it looks like it's trying to something different than before, but no audio - just goes right to the mix...? I've attatched a copy of my config file - help?! Justin Station: http://www.platecstudios.com:8000/ |

Hmm, what did you use to encode the intro file? Can you link us to the intro file itself if you're not sure, so we can see for ourselves why it might not be playing?

That is an absolute path and unless you create a directory called content in your root directory is the cause of your problem. Try a relative link such as: ContentDir=./content/pcsintro.mp3
Just make sure your pwd is where content is when you start the DNAS. Tom |

![]() I meant absolute as in: c:\my-intro-directory\my-intro.mp3 |
