why doesn't .wma files play?

Is there any way to get the file type to become .mp3 or the .wma file to play and people can hear it. if i play the file i can hear it but i get .yp removed or something?? :S

Is this a Shoutcast issue?
Methinks so.

Moved from wa2-ts to sc-ts
(mods feel free to move it back if my assumption was wrong)
