I'm about to contradict myself:

I don't know them (never heard the music) but I still hate their guts!!! The screaming man with the tattoos is too much. I mean, does he have to shout????

I have exceptionally loud music (possibly the loudest on earth) but the vocallists don't have to scream. Just crank-up the mic volume.

I like metal, but this isn't even music...

Sorry, but it's not my type, and I hate it...

A very close Japanese friend I knew a while ago once said to me "Watashi no koto wo oboeta, onegai shimasu...Yakusoku?"

I forgot his name though...

As David Bowie once sang.

"here today, gone tomorrow"

In five years time you will be looking back at your CD collection going "WTF" and "Wonder where they are now"

Classic, memorable music it isn't.

Slipknot is a pansy ass wannabe metal band who hopped on the NuMetal bandwagon but their music totally failed.

The only reason they became so popular is becuase they sucked (and sucked off ) their way thru MTV, and became the fans of many 13-16 year old TRL watchers because "they wear cool masks". Dumb ass fuckers. THeir music totally blows and is an insult to an already insulting music genre.

If I wanted NuMetal i'd at least listen to a band with talent, like Korn.

I do, I used to listen to Rammstein (before Du Hast) and in Junior High (early 90's) I was a HUGE fan of Queen.

w3rd, except korn have pretty much sold out too. Deftones are about the only ones left who haven't.

I think they're trying to be cool but it's just a pile of manufactured cheesey crap. Slayer is where it's at.

i don't care how bad a band sells out as lng as they make decent sounding music. if i can nod my head to it, ect, it is good enough for me. korn coudl write a song for buttered popkorn, and haev lil plush dolls, but if their music still souded god, its ok for me.

Shut up!! I didnt fucking ask for that. I simply asked what genre they come under. And 'annoying talentless noise" isnt a genre. Obviously you dont like them but all i asked was what they come under nothign more. I could have posted another thread saying what genre they come under but then i would have got even more peolple saying that there crap and so are u. Maybe i should just leave the forums because people dont like me liking SlipKnoT!
