ICY 401 Service Unavailable
Hi !
I was wondering if you had switch off the nsv streaming feature for shoutcast under Unix ?? If so how can I do to stream video ?? I'm running under mandrake 9.1 For encoding Video, I'm using Flakmpeg with "wine" and unfortunatly the streaming encoder doesn't work because wine doesn't load correctly directshow .... :'( but anyway I just wanted to do on-demand video streaming by now ! does any of you got a solution ? Thanks a lot to you guy ! |

The On-Demand feature in SHOUTcast currently does not support NSV, just MP3 files currently.
You can encode the files and uplaod them to a web server though. |

Currently there are no Linux tools to create or stream NSV files. Though the Linux server can host a live stream.
You may be able to encode some NSV files by using either nsvenc or nsvate and streaming them to the SHOUTcast server using nsvscsrc. These tools are apart of the Window's NSV Tools within Wine. (It's already been determined DirectShow live capture does not work with Wine). |
