I really, really, really... really... really... hope it's a joke. And not something they show to kids in school or something.

It's a joke...
Right?

<edit> LOL at the end it says "You have permission to copy this video for nonprofit use". How ironic </edit>

God I sure do hope so...if the Video Game industry wasted so much money on a crappy commercial like that.....they could've come up with something better.

for the 56Kers, if you want to download it as a file using a download manager, the website is http://static.hugi.is/video/fyndin/dctf-1.wmv seeing as how it is 16MB, I'd just let it download while you sleep.

There I just killed 10 minutes of my life.

I copied, copying, and will copy.

I hate the idea of one program per computer, what if you have 2 computers!?! WTF with that!?! Im not gonna buy another cd for the comp in the next room! And if this is a law then my school breaks it!

They purchase site licenses for their school districts. At my school, they ended up blowing a ton of money in site licenses to install Adobe PhotoShop7, Office XP, and Choices 2002. Fun job installing those on over 150 computers in the computer labs.

My school just installs those progs on the network drive, so all of the computers can use them and they don't have to install them 200 times.

Neither do the people at my school - they actually came to my comp sci class and had us come and help them several times because they didn't know what they were doing.

Nope. They show it to every sixth grade class at my old middle school. Brings back some memories (not good ones).

Yes, that's a site license, just the network version of it. My school did that for the whole f'ing college campus. Thank god they had uber servers.

I didn't. The posts were almost 30 minutes apart and were totally non-related, so I felt it should be a new post.
