What kind of music do you really like and listen to when your window isn't open? What music do you listen to and don't tell anyone about it?

I don't have any closet music. I don't care what anyone thinks about what I'm listening to. I listen to just about everything, but my guilty pleasure is 80's music.

Closet music? Uhh...
Aside from my younger cousin, none of my other friends know that I listen to J-Pop (Japanese pop). It's not that I really don't want anyone to know, it's just that I don't without a reason. I'd try to practice on guitar solos that are featured in some anime songs in front of my friends and stuff, but I never gave the thought of making a mention to them... Whatever... A very close Japanese friend I knew a while ago once said to me "Watashi no koto wo oboeta, onegai shimasu...Yakusoku?" I forgot his name though... |

same with WOH, i really dont care what others think of my tastes, but i get teased a lot for liking country, (oh, go ahead, point and giggle or gag as the case may be :P) and i also like the songs from "kid's" movies, but i blame it all on the rugrat for being DJ Greedy in the car and wanting to listen to her cds.

60's music like The Animals. I listened through a lot of it on my family trip. My relatives like that stuff, and coincedentally their stuff appealed to me.

I have a number of albums that tap into my soul. I often go back to them if feeling below sea-level. A favourite sonic teddy-bear - Mega City Four - Who Cares Wins. It's a case of riding the peaks and troughs and feeling refreshed at the end.

hmm, I dunno, I guess I do own a Happy 2B Hardcore album but I rarely ever listen to it. I can't really think of anything. I own Madonna and Alice DeeJay but I never listen to them anymore either...
Maybe ATB would be the closest to cheesy pop-trance that I listen to but he does have some great songs. |

'60's pop '80's pop
are the worst music ever to be recorded imo "It's like saying give a man a Les Paul guitar and he becomes Eric Clapton, and of course that's not true, give a man an amplifier and a synthesizer and he doesn't become...whoever; he doesn't become us." - Roger Waters |

ELO and ABBA. Everyone laughs when I break those out - but that's what I grew up on - Out of the Blue, Super Trouper, and The Visitors on good ol' vinyl. I was so excited when I got to see ELO Part II in concert on the fourth of July, and everyone else was like, "Who?"

Mine would be any kind of trendy pop/dance acts, mostly the female ones (such as Tatu, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne and the likes)

Xerxes is now speaking l33t ![]() I forgot to add my Ally McBeal soundtracks, I usually listen to them when I'm alone. Usual reaction I got when I played them when someone else was around was a flabbergasted look accompanied by a " YOU like this kind of stuff ? This is so UNLIKE YOU"

Abba & the Bee Gees mentioned. I'm luke warm on them both, but somehow I have the greatest hits albums (how does that happen)? Probably the subconscious at work there, I'm too cool to knowlingly go out and buy the stuff. I'd have been embarrassed at the store.
Ally McBeal seer!!!!!!! I can't believe it. I'm also fond of a couple of Britney tracks (even a couple of boyband songs), but I'd never ever admit it. |

AMB - AKA 'A firm of sexually frustrated lawyers and their pet frog (come sex-slave) Jarvis'. It happens in real life - I was once approached by a female colleague, who started talking about a stationery order. A minute in she suddenly stuttered and spluttered out the word 'sex'. In that one minute her working brain was derailed by her sex brain (obviously triggered by my good looks). Anyway come on seer!!!! AMB???????????? |

![]() I can't say i care what people think about what i listen to anymore so if i get the feeling people would have some strange reaction to hearing me listen to it i turn it up in the hopes of surprising/offending someone.
