Idiot Fucking Drivers!

Well, this has just been the icing on my cake this month! On my way to work today I was rear-ended by this twit teenager (I'm not trying to imply that ALL teenagers are twits, so let's just get that straight right now.) She was paying absolutely no fucking attention to the fact that traffic was slowing because of a near accident ahead of us.
I was nearly stopped when she hit me. She hit me so hard that my car was forced into the back of the car in front of me. Lucky for me the air-bags deployed because my shoulder harness didn't lock. The impact also forced my seat into a fully reclined position and it's now stuck there. My front end is completely crushed. The back of my car has a big fucking impact dent where she hit me. In short, my car is TOTALED!!! Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. The only car that received any real damage was mine.
The shit of it is that I just paid off my car note two months ago! It was mine, free and clear. No more car payments. I wasn't planning on buying another car for a while because I'm a full time student, and we all know that students don't have a lot of money. Now, I'm going to have to rent a car until we get this whole thing settled, and buy another car. Fuck! I was looking forward to not having a car payment for a while.
Did this little twit get out of her car to see if anyone was hurt? NO! Does she get on her cell phone and call 911? NO! She gets on her cell phone and calls Mommy and Daddy, who come out to the scene and immediately try to tell the cop that it's not her fault. WTF???? I'm not even sure she has insurance. When we traded information, she told the cop that her insurance was "pending", and she didn't have a card. I hope to hell that Mommy and Daddy have lots of money, because this is going to cost them!
Next time you're in your car maybe you'll fucking pay attention!!!
Okay, I'm done with my rant. Sorry it's so long. If you have any bad driving experiences, please feel free to share.

Geez. I'm glad you're ok.

God help (and yes, I'm an atheist... that's how bad it would be) anyone that causes a wreck with me. They'd better hope they can run faster than I can, because if they can't, they're dead (or at least seriously injured and incapacitated).

Glad to hear no-one was hurt.

I was in a similar accident a few years back. I stopped at a red light on the main highway through the town i was living in (the speed limit on that road was 80km/h), and got hit from behind by a guy who was so caught up in his phone conversation he didnt see me or the red light until it was too late. He was probably doing 40 or so when he hit, enough to push my car forward about 2 metres into the intersection, yet my car wasnt damaged at all (gotta love old cars). His front end was totalled.

The dumbass got out of his car, and was still on the phone the whole time we were trading details.

p.s. I'm such a geek, i saw idiot fucking drivers and expected this to be a problem with pc hardware..

I thought about this after I had all ready posted. I was so pissed that I didn't realize how it would sound until then. My apologies to all of you who were misled by the title. Thanks for you concern!

I didn't think that this was a computer issue, but I did think that our fellow winamp member idiot had been caught fucking some drivers. Hm, weird what different people interpret from the same message.

Good to see you are ok. Not many people know this but you can get a temporary loaner car from the insurance if you request. Give it a go. I think the prob is those dumbass parents that give their kids everything they want without hard work hoping to get affection in return. If it were me, my folks would have probably let me contemplate the night in jail till the insurance mysteriously showed up.

I am so important I feel the need to let it be known like a liberal discovering the internets for the first time. Uh hur hur hur. I also wash myself with a rag on a stick.

I had to drive 17 miles a few days ago from here to work, and it was all on a gravel road. I got stuck behind a guy who was going 5 miles under the speed limit (which was 20 mph), and since it was a gravel road, all the dust he was bringing up got sucked into the vent, so I could smell the dust, and this guy was in front of me THE WHOLE WAY THERE. AND DUST SMELLS NASTY.

i'm glad to hear you were not seriously injured. this reminded me of this driver i just saw the other day. the woman was talking on her cell, had a small dog on her lap, AND was smoking a cigarette at the same time. gawd... but what kills me the most are parents that don't have their kids wearing seatbelts and those same kids are jumping around in the cars. those parents deserved to be slapped.

Slapped hell! They deserve to brought up on child neglect charges, at the least! It makes me wonder if those parents even care about how precious those little lives are. It pisses me off more when I see that the parent is wearing a seatbelt while their child is unrestrained, especially when the child is sitting in their lap!

I think that driver's tests should be much harder, and that they should have to be passed every five years to keep a licence. I don't know where you live but in the US most states have really lenient licencing systems. Canada does it a little better, with a graduated process that gives you more rights as you pass more difficult tests. I think that all tests should incorporate expressway driving, weaving in and out of lanes, parallel parking (which thankfully at least northeastern states require), and more hours behind the wheel. The reduction in driving-related fatilities would be more than worth it.
