I want some stuff similar to....

Has anyone listened to the LOTR:fellowship of the rings soundtrack?? great stuff there...but anyway, the last song, (i think) "May it Be" is *really* good IMO. So, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for music that is similar? It's one of the few "slower" types of music I liked, I usually prefer fast, upbeat stuff, or at least a moderate pace. However, I have decided to "broaden my horizons", so to speak, but I have no idea where those horizons are or what they may be :P

If you want to give me any other suggestions on good music period, feel free. (just no country, but anything else is game. I can't stand country)

I use All Music Guide as a research tool. If you like a band, just look at the list of similar artists and you'll probably like them as well. It's very effective.

GNOD's world of music
GNOD's search engine will find what you want even if you don't know what you're looking for.
