& ann pebbles

arranged by: christopher ward

Summertime...and the living may not be that easy...but it can have moments of sheer delight. This chilled out slice of swing beat is essential summertime listening with the feeling of good times, good friends and good vibes. From the moment the vocals kick in, you're in for something special.

I Can't Stand the Rain is the kind of track for soulful grooving ...or some old skool bumping and grinding on the dance floor. Its rhythms are enticing and the sexy swingbeat gets the body moving.

Emm X's vocals are one of the hooks that give this track such widespread appeal. Her vocals are soulful, seductive and filled with meaning. Her phrasing and interpretation are like the perfect summertime cocktail: not too much and not too little. Just the right amount to give a smooth and evocative thrill.

Singer, songwriter and producer - Emm was the perfect choice to front this single. The experience is even better live. She has an immediate physical presence and vitality.

Hailing from a renown Irish music family, Emm has racked up an enviable list of professional credits during her time in the UK. Emm's career has taken her to Europe and as far afield as Japan. She has also worked with soul legends such as George Williams and TC of the Shi Lites. No small wonder she was courted by EMI Records at the tender age of 16.

Kick back and have a listen. It's like a chilled bottle of wine with good friends on a warm summer night...refreshing.

This is music for the soul.

Please don't cross post the same topic in multiple forums, I found a further 2 copies of this thread in the shoutcast forums, they have been deleted, I'll leave this one be, as it at least fits in here, but try to contribute something else to these forums in future, other than promoting your artists, or you might find that future threads are deleted right away, spamming by any nature is bad.
