Recording Control -> Options -> See if more items are available.
You're looking for something such as "What U Hear" / "System Mixer" / "Stereo Mixer" (the name on this varies, it may be one or none of those) Also, in the Volume control, make sure the Microphone is NOT muted. Have you checked out the microphone FAQ yet? Check out the Sticky post titled: SHOUTcast: Important Info & Answers to FAQs. READ ME! Scroll down a bit and look for the section titled: DSP Issues -> Using the Microphone with Music |

Playback Mixer Has-
Volume Control, Wave, Midi, CD Audio, Line In, Microphone, PC Speaker. Recording Mixer- MIDI, CD Audio, Line In, Microphone, Pc Speaker Then For Every Option Is Mute For Each One. |

Volume Control is most likely the global mixer.
Also, as the FAQ suggests, "In the Playback Mixer make sure the Microphone is NOT muted." |

Hi all, i'm not sure why being from the uk is relevent, i'm from the uk and as far as i know, uk hardware/software is the same as everybody elses ;-)
Anyway, the problem may be that some older soundcards don't support what you seem to be doing, in other words if you set the input to soundcard so that you can talk over the stream, then it only broadcasts what is coming into the soundcard from the line in and microphone inputs and not any mp3's you may be playing in winamp. I notice from the screenshot that you are using an SB AWE64, this is a pretty elderly souncard, i suggest you get a more up to date one an this will probably sort you out. |
