Nasty Lag

Hey guys, first post here, and i think this probably has been posted before, but i dont have time to search...sry..

why is there such a nasty lag even when broadcasting over a LAN? any way to fix it?

There is a built-in buffer in the DNAS that is not configurable. To lower the lag you can broadcast at a higher bitrate (since the buffer is roughly a fixed size regardless of the broadcast bitrate) or use version 1.7.1 of the DNAS since it has a smaller buffer (there are some security issues with older versions though).
