Distorted sounds when Mixing live.

I seem to be having trouble with my streams getting incredibly garbled when i set up and play live dj mixing. The sound is crystal clear all the way thru to my speakers, but listeners complain that its so garbled that they can't hear anything but static. The only solution i have found so far that rectifies the problem is to restart winamp in the middle of the show....and it only lasts for 30-45 mins before it gets garbled again. I know my levels are not too high, and i have plenty of spare bandwith available when listeners report it. Any suggestions?

Is there a SBLive! or AC97 soundcard involved?

sblive platinum that has been streaming live sets for 2 and a half years....and only started messing up in the last 2 months.

Anything on the system updated?

If so, can you roll back?

Are your mixer levels too high?
