Having a Buffering issue

I'm on a Linksys router and on dsl and i've followed all the steps to forward the ports to my computer and such. I'm broadcasting music fine, and people can connect, but it continously buffers while they're trying to listen. What causes this? And is there a way i can fix it? Any help would be very appreciative.

Please post a link to your DNAS.

Do you have enough bandwidth to support the number of connected listeners at your target streaming bitrate?

Check out the Sticky post titled:
SHOUTcast: Important Info & Answers to FAQs. READ ME!

Scroll down a bit and look for the section titled:
1. DNAS Stuff -> Bandwidth -> DSLReports Bandwidth tester(Only be concerned with the UPLOAD bandwidth)
2. DNAS Stuff -> Bandwidth -> CasterClub's Listener Calculator
3. DNAS Stuff -> Bandwidth -> CasterClub's Bandwidth Calculator

Use 1 to find your upload.
Use 2 to determine the number of listeners you can support at your selected streaming bitrate.

Additionally, your listeners download needs to exceed your streaming bitrate.

Jay (KXRM) also has a Bandwidth Calculator.

Your upload speed : 135386 bps, or 135 kbps

I'm not having more than 2 or 3 people connect at a time.

Calculations Complete For 3 listeners at 135 kbps
Calculations @ 1 Day
Kilobits = 38,491,201
Kilobytes = 4,811,400
Megabits = 36,708
Megabytes = 4,589
Gigabits = 34
Gigabytes = 4

And they are all running on cable modems.

Use the other calculator and supply your upload of 135kbps and your streaming bitrate.

2. DNAS Stuff -> Bandwidth -> CasterClub's Listener Calculator

You can set this option in your DSP settings. Under the encoding panel.

Heh, my reccomendation is to stream in 56k mono. Trust me, that's not a bad quality at all. And you can actually support listeners. Heh.
