Fatal Error -- A quick question

I am new to shoutcast, and I think I have everything configured right, but when no one can connect to it, I have all the ports open that need to be, but the only thing that I think could be the reason no one could connect to it is this:

<09/10/03@21:31:53> [main] error opening client socket! FATAL ERROR! Some other process is using this port!
<09/10/03@21:31:53> [source] listening for connection on port 8001

what does that mean? and what should I do?

check the stickies, in short go into your config and change the portbase to something else.. Make sure another app isn't using port 8000
