Ugh. The great Northwest fall/winter has begun. Say goodbye to the Sun, folks, it will be awhile before you see it again. Damn Washington state. Miserable shitty climate. I WANT OUT!!!

Damn. Well, you won't be alone, us over here on the East Coast are supposed to have a lousy Winter as well. Last year we got smashed with 24 inches of the white stuff. I HATE snow, but LOVE winter.

Today it was Overcast, drenching rain, blue skies, over and over again. And sooooo many accidents on I5. "The great news is that the Ski season is supposed to be really awesome this year!" I don't ski.

Over here in the UK, we are basking in an unusually hot September, people are still out in shorts and tshirts, a mini heatwave if you will. Personally I can't wait for autumn/winter to break, I much prefer the dark, cooler , how shall we say, "grim" days and nights. I just don't get on with the sun

And just for clarification for y'all, I wasn't referring to anyone in particular. I was reading this joke: "How Are a Texas Tornado And a Tennessee Divorce The Same? Somebody's Gonna Lose A Trailer" right before reading your post, sarge. Soooo, I had the whole redneck/hick thing going on my mind. And I had the country music playing too

now.. sarge wrestles alligaters and drives a back hoe i eat squirrels and drive a chevy sarge has towels over his windows i have blinds that have been bent on the sides for spying sarge has a trophy to boast his redneck image i have animal fur drying on my porch i hope i have made it all clear for everyone... godoncrack, you have anything to add?

Well, Here, it is still to damn hot for me. I prefer fall weather over every other season. It is nice, cold, dark, gloomy. And that makes me really happy for some reason. And the bright sunny days make me sad and or mad and such.
I am odd, I know. And, no I am not a hick, but I do live in a state that has a crapload of hicks for being so up north. |

One: I haven't seen sarges trophy.
Two: The only animal remains drying on my porch are bones(mostly skulls). Three: I use blankets. Four: I too have a chevy and drive it like i stole it Five: The unfinished beer(monkey piss) is a much better balanced breakfast than bloody marys. Six: I prefer winter followed closely by autum, just me. |

2) I drive a Chevy, too, when I'm not in my backhoe. 3) I never had towels over my window. It was a blanket. But that was replaced with aluminum foil recently. ![]() ![]() 4) And I have venetian blinds to hide the foil... ![]() 5) See first quote in this post. 6) I don't have any dead animals on my front porch. |

Today's weather: Just freaking beautiful outside, the only thing that would've made today just absolutely perfect was a ride on the back of a motorcycle.

I can't wait for winter...Out of the whole 12-month year, it seems like the snow only lasts for around 2-months during the 3-month winter session, so I tend to like it a bit more than summer weather...Icy roads usually lead to disaster with dumbass drivers, but if I can get an icy back road with no dumbasses, it'd be a nice place to practice ice drifting in my car and go-kart...

Im thinking about migrating south for the winter. My nose is already runny and the only way to stop it is to turn up the heat/humidity or take drugs.

Don't get me wrong,I like rain. There's nothing better on a rainy day than to sit with the fireplace going, watching classic movies on the tube, snuggled under a blanket. What I hate about it here, is the constant overcast and gloominess during the winter time.

I absolutely love overcast and gloominess. That's some of the best weather there is. I'd much rather have that than what I've got. You're spoiled and you just don't know it.

Well, here... it's 90 degrees in the day, and 87 degrees at night. And the humidity varies between 80% and 103%.
No joke. |
