CD's/minidisc/vinyl/MP3's - whatever. I don't expect many of us own 60's grammophone records. I hope to have at least 50x 1960's albums by next christmas.
Only about 42 left.Caption - "The hey-day of the 60's":

Man, there's 100's of awesome 60's albums.
Too many to list here dude. Start with: Hendrix, The Doors, Dylan, Beatles, Cream, CSNY, Buffalo Springfield, Syd Barret's Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Tyrannosaurus Rex, The Who, Fairport Convention, Love, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin, Kinks, Spirit . . . Even the first albums by the likes of Sabbath, Led Zep, Genesis, Can, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Zappa, Yes, Free, Santana, Grateful Dead, Joni Mitchell, etc, were all in the 60's.

I used to have some Janis Joplin and The Mama's and Papa's. Hopefully, they're still packed in a box at my mom's house.

I now have (wait for it) 10 whole 60's albums. It's a double digit collection now.
There are loads of recommendations here, but I find myself into Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention this month. Apparently, "Freak Out" (1966) was hailed as "one of the most ambitious debuts in rock history". There you go.How long do you reckon Frank Zappa would last on the checkouts at Walmart? |

anyways, heres the one i listened to last. ![]() (actually i think the albumn was released in the 70's, but recorded in 60's... or somthing... bleh) |

I do plan to own the whole Beatles back-catalogue, but it's a question of getting round to it. There are people constantly throwing good music in my path... |

What quality are the Hendrix CDs? Alot of his stuff sounds like it's played underwater. Shame really.
If only they had digital technology in the 60's.... |
