college broadcasting

I'm having trouble sending my streaming station past the colleges networking system. People here on the network can listen but not anyone outside the network. Is there anyway I can find out which ports they have open and I can use to get out or do I have no idea what I'm talking about?

Thanks

Suck up to the college network administrators.

They'll need to open/forward the necessary ports for you to braodcast to the Internet at large.

If you're lucky, the admins will be of your preferred gender, will be good looking, and susceptible to bribes.
