What P2P software do you use?

I remember the napstar days. Then it's decline and then AudioGalaxy.

But what do you use now so you can evaulate what you are going to buy next.

I presuemd we all used the same but maybe not. What I am using is coming up later.

Post away.

I use WinMX. Kaaza Lite doesn't work well for me.

Mine is Kazaa in conjunction with Diet K (to kill pop-ups). I've tried others but I find Kazaa has the largest user base (by far). The supernode system sucks though.

*shudder* kazaa & WinMX.

DC++ is pretty go if you share out enough stuff say 100GB+ for that US rock stuff. My mate loves it.

For electronic stuff (what it was designed for or more specifically IDM - always hated that term) I use Soulseek.

Lovely client too. Let the members of your userlist have additional download slots, download containing folder, wishlist, doesn't seem to have multiple hubs, etc, etc and a good sense of community.

And it appears to have a decent selection of 'other' music too. "...I spent my time on the firing line....lalala...."

Although if you google it you probably not find it atm as teh website weant down.

KL K++ 2.2.4? I think, but it was the latest build. I'm very happy with this since they fixed the resources issue.

eMulePlus v1h (AMD)....bloody marvelous and some great forums for the links....eMulePlus

It's open source so there are updates and improvements every month or so.

It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this.
