Have you ever felt like a genius?
Some of you might be super-intelligent, so it probably happens all the time
But when have you ever just said to yourself: "I'm so smart!" |

A lot of the time when I'm helping people with math, computers, etc.
When I'm reading through the forums and find people misplacing "there apostrophe's" (their apostrophes) and doing other things that they drill into you in English class as being improper grammar time and time again but no one ever does it properly. The world is made of conflicts: good and evil, order and chaos, light and dark, hot and cold. All are essential to life. None can prevail for any length of time, or life will fail. In the end, the best any can hope for is balance. |

100% True Story:
One time when I was 3 years old, I had a dorito. I looked at it once, and then I said: "triangle!" Then I bit off a piece of the top and looked at it again and said: "trapeziod!" My parents were so proud of me!

Dammit, Chev. I swear you and 'jaz have all the best answers stored backstage in a thread somewhere, and an alarm goes off everytime you can use one.
![]() Myself? Rarely. It makes me feel rather good if I run spell check on something and all it finds are the things I meant to be wrong. ![]() Of course, this is the same person who, since we've bought a cat, always asks "Me?" after his fiance asks him to do something, even though we're the only two people in the house. :broke: Mostly I just feel like I'm willing to work harder than most people. Oh, and - lol, cute story Pixelcraft.

A couple of my friends aren't even in the same range of intelligence levels as I and my best mate are. He and I occasionally exchange glances when friends use big scary words, without knowing what they mean, usually in the wrong way. It's.. nice, to know I'm above average. It's really nice. =)

No, not really. ![]() During the Apple ][ era I worked out where Rescue Raiders stored the amount of money you have, and cheated my way into victory. This was before the advent of automatic tracers and debuggers. |

The smarter you are, the more you want to know. Then it becomes hard to accept that 98% of earth's population is rather stupid and doesn't think too much, while so much depends on them. Still we can't do without these people. In this world ignorance is bliss and life becomes a lot easier...

I felt like a genius when I was the only kid who got 100% on one of my Lang arts tests. Teacher just had to announce it!
![]() Then in my Biology classes I have the most stupidiest kids that just like to cause problems with the teacher and never getting their work done. 21 people failed a test..some without even marking it..while 6 passed. X_X I feel smart compare to some people..... |

When I help my little brother with his homework successfully. Most of the time, it all works out.
I feel stupid when ever I try to engage in conversation with hot chicks. But I think that goes for a lot of people. |

When I talk car tech with my friends, I seem to lose them most of the time...I especially know this when I try to explain to them how variable valve timing and lift works in an engine and all I get back are blank stares...
A very close Japanese friend I knew a while ago once said to me "Watashi no koto wo oboeta, onegai shimasu...Yakusoku?" I forgot his name though... |

When I thought in phsyics once, why don't they just play the negative of a sound wave to dampen out noise and then found out a year or so later Lexus were experimenting with doing it.

That will cancel out the screams when a Lexus slams into a crowd.
And it probably explains why Lexus doesn't listen to its customers. |

I wouldn't know, because I only feel like me. But then, I'm a genius, so I guess that a yes.
![]() Note to skinme: Yeah, that's been around for quite a while. The problem, of course, is that you have to get the anti-wave synced up perfectly with the wave, very, very close to the origional source to have the best impact. there was a time i was a genius. i was reading at a very young age and at a much higher level than i should have. I breezed through elementary school. What a joke. we had these tests to see how you did compared to everyone else in your school and i took first place in all of them. People were expecting me to go to an ivy league college when i grew up.
Now, i'm not as great in school. Still above average and I LOVED chem. I plan on majoring in it. But, its just not the same as it used to be. I know why too. Its this damn computer. Too many distractions. Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway. |
