Toddler's murderer gets 23 years in prison
http://www.komo1000news.com/stories/28075.htm
The guy beats his girlfriend's son to death after a potty training accident. There are no words for what I would do with the guy if I was given 5 minutes alone with him

How is it that the sentence is only 23 years? He murdered a 3 year-old child.

What can you say? Some people are poor excuses for human beings.
It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this. |

Wow.
I don't feel anything but sorrow from that. No hate, nothing. Just sadness. |

Trust me, as a single mom myself, that monster better hope that he doesn't make it out of prison. ANYONE lays a hand on my daughter, is dead. Pure and simple.

be glad justice does work overthere in the states -
in a case against a guy who killed his step-daughter and then cut her to pieces- placing those pieces all over the netherlands- the court rulled that the guy is in prison for 12 years- which means he'll be out in let say 8 or 9 years- http://www.boevenbende.com/blog1/archives/004675.htm |

Bwahahahahha.
Spaceplay america is full of injustcie. Not all states have the same laws. Some states know what to do child molesting perverts.(Not Florida though ) Some are great at locking away armed robbers.(Florida all the way baby I could fill this thread with anecdotes but I decline. |

There are know words to describe what they should do to that... thing. (I refuse to call him a man.)
If this was done in NJ, that guy would have five consecutive life sentances or Death, simply put, after the whole incident with Megan Kanka (I went to Elementry School with her older brother actually and met her once, very disturbing memories) and the enactment of "Megan's Law" NJ took on this attitude of "Arrest first, ask questions later" when it came tosex crimes, not that this is a bad thing, but geez, most states I know of, not just NJ, would have this as a life imprisonment sentance. Of course we have our legal quirks, (none of which are really enforced, except extra traffic tickets) but this is ridiculous, if anybody I knew harmed a child, such as my two year old cousin, they'd be in a 3x3' cell on death row. I'm sorry but if you take a life your sentance should be life imprisonment or, sadly enough, death. People like that, who murder chidlren, don't deserve to live freely, ever, accident or not, that guy deserves life imprisonment. |
