Goodbye Bobby...

Bobby Hatfield, one half of the Righteous Brothers, died today.
To me, they were one of the best duos of all time.
Part of Phil Spector's "wall of sound" era, they defined love songs.
"You've Lost That Lovin Feeling" is one of the most played singles ever.
We'll miss you.
But your music will go on forever.

Their star rose again in 1990, when ``Unchained Melody'' was used in the film ``Ghost.''

watching this movie will never be the same again.
glad this song is on my playlist.( one of my all time favourites)

Each Thursday a new show on Celtica Radio with Darkwave music.

Unchained Melody was a legend in itself. The song's message is 100% true, unfortunately. They hit a nail that needed to be hammered.

But that's life (and death). Who wants to live forever anyway?

Righteous Brothers singer Bobby Hatfield's death in November was caused by cocaine.

By Associated Press
January 6, 2004, 1:36 PM EST

Dr. Richard Tooker, chief medical examiner for Kalamazoo County, told the Kalamazoo Gazette in Tuesday's editions that Hatfield's death was triggered by acute cocaine intoxication.

Hatfield, 63, died Nov. 5 just hours before a Righteous Brothers concert.
