Old bands you've just got into

I seem to have a habbit of being several years or decades out of date. At school I loved hendrix and LedZep, I got into Nirvana after Kurdt died. Then I went metal and like Megadeth after their height and just recently I've got some Metallica MP3's (ty WASTE ). It's actually pretty cool, even though I consider myself a metal person I've never really heard any Metallica except their popular stuff. I think I could grow to like this for a while before I move onto Fleetwood Mac or some other oldy band.

Not really 'old', but I just got into Red Hot Chili Peppers, their older stuff.

Well, I grew up around old music because my dad is a DJ. But I just recently got into Led Zeppelin and Queen.

For now, I'll say Frank Zappa & the Mothers. This album in particular:

I acquired the whole discography in less than a week.

Johnny Cash. Unfortunately it was because of his death..

Among that: Rage Against the Machine. They're not terribly old, but they're not around anymore. The Doors. Sums it up, mostly.

Rush, mainly, along with the Cliff Burton-era Metallica...Also recently getting into Jimi Hendrix, maybe...
