Are you a slob or clean freak?

Deep down inside I like my house to be clean and orderly. However this is not a reality. My house is not dirty but there is work stuff everywhere. I cant even find my bedroom floor right now!

I guess I could use the excuse that I have only been home for 7 days in the past 4 months but it would only be that - an excuse.

Anyone that is an organized neat freak is more than welcome to come and help me clean my house

I keep things more tidy than clean. Tidying takes 5 minutes. Cleaning takes hours. I clean about once every 2 weeks...

While I'd like for my place to be neat, the rugrat prefers a mess. So, we compromise. I tidy up a little here and there and blame her for the major disaster areas

my room looks like some sort of explosive device went off in it. i literally can't see the carpet anywhere.

I'm semi-tidy...I (try) to keep all my magazines piled in one stack, and all my PS2 games and DVDs go in one section of my entertainment system in my room...Dirty clothes go in one pile until I collect them to be washed...When I'm settled in, my stuff's all over my room...Magazines, game cases, CD cases, guitar cord running across the room from my amp to the bass guitar on the stand, cans stacked like ancient shrines, bedsheets all in a ruff, and all that stuff...

So no, my room's hardly clean; it's always trashed...

the mrs asked me when can we expect him over?

we moved from house to house for 4 times in the last 6 years so it's still a mess, some boxes with usefull things are still up the attick waiting unpacking.

most important places in the house are clean ( bathroom, living room/kitchen and the p- place - bedrooms and attick total mess)

Each Thursday a new show on Celtica Radio with Darkwave music.

I'd post pictures of my mess, but my room is messier at my dad's house than my area at my mom's house, and this weekend isn't when I go to my dad's house (Next weekend)...

Let's just say this: my room's sorta like psyfive's, only with more junk covering the un-seen bottoms of the floor...

I hate having a clean room, I can never seem to find anything. right now tho, I know where everything is. (Big RC car under clothes on the head of my bed wall side, blank cdrs under the foot of my bed behind the empty IBC bottles. clean clothes on the bed, dirty clothes on the floor, paperwork/warrantees/manuals for almost everything i own under the foot of my bed two feet from the wall) if I were to clean I would end up making a mess looking for everything.

While I prefer a clean room, I hate - I mean *HATE* it if someone else cleans it. Oh my god, I can't find anything. Perhaps everything was laid out on the floor before, but I least I could find everything. Then someone else cleans, and I can't find shit.

Aye, only it can happen to me when people just generally just move my stuff...

I'm not a clean freak, but I dont let things get too messy. If it does, whenever I can spare some time and patience, I clean it right up to perfection. Then I mess it up within a week, lol.

Since I can remember, I've been a neat-freak in a bad way. (It's one of the many sub-parts of being a control-freak.) But I'm not obsessed with having everything around me wherever I go perfectly neat and clean, so I never go to someone else's house and compulsively start cleaning up.

But whoever has lived with me never really had to do anything, for the most part. For instance, my second wife was an utter slob. I loved her very much, but the girl would just let something drop, and leave it there forever unless I picked it up. She'd leave plates half-full of food under the couch, and crap like that. It was funny, in a sense. This gorgeous, amazing woman with long blonde hair and transparent blue eyes, who dedicated her life to helping others (as a nurse), and she lived at home like a wild animal. The only hectic part was when someone came over unannounced, and before answering the door I had to run around at least picking up her thongs/bras/any-other-unmentionables, while she just laughed at me. A guest finding the occasional thong under a pillow on the couch didn't bother me...my only worry was whether it was clean, because she'd also strip all the way down and change her cloths every afternoon right in the living room, leaving dirty clothes where they fell. God I miss her!

Anyway, for cleaning I always keep the laundry and dishes done (since I cook everyday too), and I hire someone else to take care of the rest, twice a week.

I'm a psychosomatic sister running around without a leash.
