Hmm... the year 2003 was a mixed bag for me, starting with Euro bands such as Flying Steps, ATC etc. to a 'Flashback 80s' with New Wave artists such as PSB, FGTH etc. and back to modern bands in the last 3 months. This is a condensed summary of my musical life through the year 2003:
January: Had just then got my Nomad MuVo as a New-year gift from my relative. Started listening to music on my MuVo, particularly German bands like Eiffel 65 and Flying Steps, and not to mention, some good UK artists like Apollo 440, Jamiroquai, Paradise Lost, Robbie Williams, Chicane etc. February: The euro craze continued for a while, until when all of a sudden, I just lost interest in it. For a week or so, I just felt music-less and kinda miserable during that patch... until I happened to listen to the 80s hit 'Alphaville - Big in Japan'. I suddenly got hooked into the 80s music... I then became retrospective and started 'collecting' music by Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Tears for fears etc... the New Wave era was reborn in me ![]() March, April & May: It was during this period that I got introduced to the 80s UK band "Frankie goes to Hollywood" - their music was sheer beauty I'll complete the rest later, I've got work to do now. |

well, take into account that they're lipsyncing(sp) and you'll discover why.
NEVER....INSULT....ROCK....AGAIN ![]() rock is good because it's not just a carbon copy of what you'd hear on an album. the band has room to experiment with different guitar solo's, fills and actually "playing" music. plus just excitment of a crowd at a rock show basicly is best thing about live music to me |

Still not clear, do you listen ot vocals or sounds of instruments?
Oh I'm so sorry, how come you hear vocals?Rock singers don't have any vocal at all they only know how to shout ........as I told before, out of rhythm, out of melody, out of scale........ Compare pop(boybands). All pop music is good music but all good music isn't pop music ![]() Wanna know more about pop music or my boy-bands? Ummm you are a sillypants. So you believe rock is screaming, your a moron. Did you ever see Pink Floyd screaming and shouting?????? NO! Every rock band has songs that are soft and good to listen to, and I believe that they are alot more talented, since when did you see a boy-band member play drums of guitar, or set-up an amplifier?? Hmmmmm?? NO! And atleast they write their own lyrics.....where as boy-bands need writer to do it for them, same goes for pop singers, like Britney. And I think that there are alot more people that like rock onstead of boy-bands. Stop being a clown-shoe.
