The Alarm
I think The Alarm warrant a thread.....
My favourtie albums: Declaration (1984) ![]() Change (1989) ![]() Favourite track: Firing Line (demo) U2 have mimicked The Alarm quite successfully (not the other way round). |

I was about to say they don't warrent a thread. But I remember that my brother went to see them in Wales years ago. My brother and his mate missed their train home, The Alarm were passing in the tour bus, spotted the Alarm t-shirts (by now soaking wet with the rain) and stopped the bus. They drove them both to one of bands mam's house and she put them up for the night.
For that alone, I give The Alarm respect. It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this. |

I didn't figure you for an Alarm fan marvyn. They have no soul, only the cold steel of guitars (and a tapping spurred boot).

My musical taste is wide and varied....as it should be, anyway, I don't like 'em, just respect 'em for how they treated their fans.
Just been listening to some Robert Johnson, utterly amazing stuff. It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this. |
