windows programs shortcut keys
hi,
i am trying to associate the programs i use the most with shortcut keys using the windows option where u go the properties of a file and specifiy the shortcut key for that file (CTRL + ALT + keyname) neways i did that for some progs but it doesn't seem to work?? how can i make it to work, and/or is there another way to do this cause i want to get rid of my quick launch toolbar and run those progs on the quick launch using the keyboard. thanx Shoot me again I ain't dead YET |

Click on the Start Menu and locate the programs you want to associate shortcuts with. Right-click on the icon within the Programs group, and go to Properties. Tab down to Shortcut Key, and enter the combination you want to use. Save your changes by clicking OK.

You may have to reboot. Windows doesn't seem to work very well with those, sort of a feature Microsoft didn't pay much attention to. Try and the shortcuts on your desktop...
