True Crime: Streets Of LA
Alright, so I finally got my other Gamecube the otherday, so I hooked it up in my room, and I got to playing True Crime: Streets of LA, and I have to say that this game, although going with the theme of GTA, but staying on the right side of the law, is a truly magnificant game. The gameplay is simply unique, and the storyline is well thought out. The people on the streets' lines are hilarious when you just all of a sudden burst out with gunfire, it's funny as all hell. And there's nothing like busting up a street fight with twin pistols and a lot of screams.
So, if you want a good game, definately check this one out. |

I really never played GTA since I have a XBox. Is this game more of a Rental (5 days of play time only) or a purchase (countless hours of playtime)?
I wanted to get this game but I read mixed reviews about it so now im not sure. I'm Back? |

It was going to be an xbox exclusive. No matter its still better on the box with higher visuals and mucho faster loading times.

I played it on the xbox and the ps2.. Maybe it's because I was expecting a GTA-killer, or maybe it's because it crashed almost a dozen times in the four days we spent playing it.. It's got a cool concept, but some of it is just brutal. It seemed chock-full of glitches. Solid rental, but I woudldn't buy it.
Christopher Walken's voice didn't redeem a game that feels like it was rushed, in my opinion :P I'll definitely check out True Crime 2 when they make that though, it's got a lot of potential. ....what am I doing here? I still use winamp 2.91, I should be going :P hey |
