Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero for the PS2...

But I beat it last weekend...And although I'm still having fun just tuning the cars, I'm gonna buy TXR3 tomorrow and work on that...

I used to CS, but then 1.6 came out and I decided that I didn't really want to play it anymore. I may start up again, though. Who knows.

Conflict Desert Storm is nice

Just started playing CS and its fairly cool. dj, u may of already known this, but u dont need to have 1.6 w that huge steam installer to play it online. Im still using 1.5, if ur interested try this: http://www.udpsoft.com/eye2/
"The All Seeing EYE", lets u play online with older versions, and this installer is quite small.

MOH:AA has quite a fun multiplayer as well, it just tends to run poorly on my 56k and my 4.7 year old computer.

I hate that Steam Installer. I still don't see why we need to download it play online.

Yeah, no kidding. From what I hear, Steam makes everyone lag! That's such bullshit. If you have a good connection, you should be able to play with good speed!

I may reinstall it with 1.5 and just play with bots.

I don't have any lag actually. I just got done playing around 20 minutes ago, I peaked at 118 from what I saw.

I am noticing a lot more hackers than normal though. Mainly people with AIMBot.

I wouldn't blame that on 1.6, though. Just the increasing number of dumbasses in the world.

MOH:AA is my fav thogh when I can use my friends 2 year old comp with broadband.

try the "all seeing eye" (link above) if you want to play people using older versions of CS. It is infrequent that I lag using this software, though I cant say it helps much w cheaters.

No one plays 1.6. Everyone still uses 1.5 The cons for outway the pros in 1.6.

I just walked to Hollywood video to rent one of the following:

Max Payne 2
Project Gotham Racing 2
Counter Strike

All of the following were not avialable to rent because they were stolen:

Max Payne 2
Project Gotham Racing 2
Counter Strike.

I got my hollywood video acount under false pretenses. They said that if I rented a game and it was shitty that I could exchange it for another game for no additional charge (one time only) and no I can not do that.

I rented Need For Speed underground because all of the following were not in stock at another hollywood video because of theft:

Max Payne 2
Project Gotham Racing 2
Counter Strike

I am canceling my account with Hollywood video. Their service blows. Their employees are pot smoking idios. Their customers are treated like dollar signs and not individuals. AND NONE OF THEIR GAMES ARE INSTOCK.

Fuck Hollywood video. Fuck their corporate office that wont do shit for me. Fuck them to hell.

I have never been to Hollywood video because I just assumed it sucked. I hate to promote such a large 'corporation', but we've almost always had great luck with Blockbuster.

They all smoke pot there too, but they don't treat you like shit.

I, conversly, like hollywood video, though I havent experienced your paticular problems. My prefrence for hollywood video is largly becase all of the DVD's and games are 5 day rentals hence I never get hit with a late fee. unlike Blockbusters 2.5 day rentals.

Yeah. Lately our Blockbuster down here has done some 7-day specials, too, along with (not sure if this is nation-wide or whatever) the Freedom Passes where you pay an amount up front and then rent two things at a time for free. It lasts a month so if you rent often, it's really beneficial.

Starcraft Brood War
Gunbound

I can't get either running successfully under WINE though, so my addiction will have to be fed after I re-install Windows after X-mas.

i like hollywood video because the games are due by midnight instead of by noon. theres a blockbuster and a hollywood right across the street from each other where i live. the hollywood video is in a much larger store so they have a much larger selection. thats the main reason i go there more.

Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.

Steam will eventually be aweseom once they hammer out all the bugs. Sad we have to sit through it

Coolest thing about it is they can update small fixes without taking weeks to test patches (not sure of the exact reason why, but understand nonetheless). Cool they are still paying so much attention so close to half-life2 (well, a few months hopefully.)

Anyone still buzed about TF2? Off topic? I dont remember the topic...sorry
