Def Leppard - "the Joker," "Hysteria"
Guns 'n Roses - "Paradise City," "Sweet Child O' Mine"
AC/DC - "the Jack," "Little Lover," "Ride On"

only an album called "appetite for destruction" among others

but I wouldn't call Gnr a hairband,not Mötley either with the exception of around '85 when they created the whole hair band wagon that all other bands jumped on(Poison)then they changed theire looks again.

Being a hair band is more than the uh... hair, though that is a part of it. Raging hair bands can be spotted from the sound alone.

I think you haven't seen any old KISS videos from like the late 70's.. also please notice that G/n/R was TOTALLY a hair band, as was Van Halen (1978 was the earliest release, and they were hairing it up way before then) and AC\DC (1974 Jailbreak - classic, and totally full of hair, even if they're losing it now). Motley Crue never set any trends, I'm sorry to say.
