7" = 45 RPM? If so, Undercover Angel by Alan O'Day.

Way too young for this time period person where people used alien-like forms of musical devices to me...
"I just want to lie in my own crusty filth, eating rancid egg sandwiches, until some unfortunate paramedic has to blow down my door to find my bloated and pasty corpse wedged between the nightstand and mattress stained with Bengay and Robitussin DM." - Greg Gutfeld on sex and seniors "Syphilis does not stay in Vegas. Just had a thought, the above date and artist may be wrong, it could be earlier, much earlier.....oh god, it is!
Gary Numan - Are Friends Electric (1979) I'm not playing this game any more. It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this. |

Richie Valens - La Bamba c/w Donna. Sometime in the late 50's
I think Donna was supposed to be the 'A' side, but La Bamba quickly became the one most played, it's what I bought the record for anyway. Some other early stuff Eddie Cochran - Cut across Shorty, Summertime Blues .... Buddy Holly - Not Fade Away, Peggy Sue ... Gene Vincent - Be Bop a Lu La The Piltdown Men - Brontosaurus Stomp (love to get hold of this again) Didn't buy many 7" and went over to collecting LPs (Blues stuff mainly). Soon after, the first Dylan albums started to appear in the early 60s, and never bought a single again. Records were damned expensive then, an LP cost a days wages, so we passed the stuff around and made tapes on old reel to reel machines. Now we have file sharing instead ![]() UJ |
