What was your very first downloaded MP3?

This is a hard one......

Men Without Hats - Safety Dance

October 2000 I believe. Due to system crashes I've probably downloaded it 3 or 4 times now.

Actually, now I think of it, it was probably a bootleg Pixes track that I snagged off some fan site, that piqued my interest in MP3's and about a week or two later I discovered the joy that was Napster, which is where Oasis comes in...

You have a habit of acquiring bags of wank. But that's the price of high self-standards.

Fuel - Hemorrage (In My Hands)

About a day or two after I went to this Buckcherry/Fuel/Kid Rock concert in '00, I think...Couldn't stop listening to the song after I downloaded it, either...

Something about that song....it just gets stuck in my head for weeks after I hear it.
A lot of Fuel songs do that to me.

Gary Lewis and the Playboys - This Diamond Ring

I remember downloading Kazaa Lite the day my parents got cable. I downloaded the first song that popped in my mind.

Probably was around 2000

Cogasm - A Sign From God

One-track band featuring Robert Smith and Reeves Gabrels (plus Cure drummer Cooper, yuck). Took the whole morning to download the thing

It's just as well you weren't cut off at 99%. Happened to me many a time using Napster.

Napster was great.
The first song I got was probably Prozakk - Sucks to Be You. My taste in music has changed since then.

Darn, I can't think of anything to put here.

Damned if I know the first song I downloaded, but I know it was sometime in '97.

"Welcome to the Island of people who know too much."..."Did you really think balloons would stop him?!"
See what I'm listening too.

That is a long time ago, I don't really remember but it was probably a Smashing Pumpkins Song, they used to have every pumpkins song including promos, bootlegs, and demos up on starla.org that was in '97 before anyone knew what an mp3 was.
