MTV Indian music awards IMMIES &Westlife!
Hey guys, do you know ‘bout MTV Indian music awards IMMIES (Indian Music Excellence Awards) took place at Mumbai, India on Friday December 12th?
The original was the MTV Music Awards. Then came the MTV Europe Music Awards. The MTV Asia Music Awards had their second run in January.So the natural next step was the MTV India Music Awards......... This first ever MTV IMMIES featuring performances by Indian stars and international musicians like Westlife, percussion maestros Safri Duo, Outlandish, asian bhangra kings Rishi Rich and Panjabi MC .........rocked Mumbai that night  The awards are exclusively supported by the Indian Music Industry and will honour the best music talent in India. The 23 categories cover all genres of music - from film to spiritual music; indipop to devotional; ghazal to international. Anyways,I’m mentioning the international categories only INTERNATIONAL CATEGORY BEST MALE POP Westlife BEST FEMALE POP Norah Jones BEST DEBUT POP Norah Jones Guess what, Westlife went there to collect the award wearing traditional Indian dress...... they were wearing traditional black Indian suits.I just can’t believe it..........I always wonder how they would look in this kinda dress but never thought that I would be able to see that ever...........its like dream coming true. Too bad, I saw the Award Ceremony in TV......... I still can’t get why do you guys are denying to give them the recognization.See, its not Ireland ,England or Europe where Westlife got the award. It’s India.........a land of large population where people have their individual music & here you go,Westlife got the recognization from that part of the world.Isn’t it a great credit?
That’s what I wanna to show to everyone. How great Westlife really is that they got the BEST MALE POP artist award from India! So you guys please stop teasing them........like telling those rubbish that they are gay (c’mon guys 2 of them are happily married!)

India almost won that if there would be enough time But in the second test …..I can't believe they were83/4 at one stage .........then that superb innings by Rahul Dravid and poor batting of Aus.....you are talking 'bout this team? They will win? Even if you draw the rest 2 matches India still wins the series btw so you are a local boy there …..in adelate........did you saw the match live? Did you take autograph of Sachin Tendulker?

Eh, I guess this started with some music awards, how had it drifted to cricket?
Well then, here I am, another Indian. I seek not to stupidly defend our team but to watch impartially the game. Australia are a superb team and without parallel. India... are just trying to improve their game a little, and to what extent we'll find out by the end of this test. The first day of the Boxing Day game was rather a balanced affair. The only thing to crib about - Tendulkar's dismissal on a duck... Just bad luck and form, he'll surely rise up tougher from there... |
