using avs 2.8, you can delete the channelshift.ape

This is a known but with my old APEs, it has something to do with XP visual styles. The ones in 2.8 have all been fixed, but if you overwrite them (by installing an older pack) it'll crash again.

The easiest way to avoid some pack overwriting them is simply to have AVS open when installing it.

i assumed that there was a problem with having more than one APE with the same uniqueidstring.

I have never had a problem with any of the APE's untill wa5 integrated them. Ive used XP for longer than ive used AVS.

delete the old ape's.

The ones that were with WA5 were intergrated into the vis_avs.dll
