Default player
Ok guys, here's the deal. I use WinAmp5.01 for broadcasting, but use WinAmp3 for listening. The reason being is that I don't wish to reload my entire catalog of MP3s each time I start to broadcast again, as they number several thousands. When this happens, it takes several minutes to load up the directory in order to use the Media Library. When not broadcasting, if I click "Tune In" to listen to another broadcaster, it automatically loads with 5.01.
So to make a long story short, is there a way to set the default for listening to Winamp3? If it's necessary to know, I'm using Windows XP. Thanks! |

Maybe you can make WinAmp 3 the default for PLS files and subtract it from the WinAmp 5 configuration. If you need to open a PLS is WinAmp 5, open directly from the program.
Give it a try and tell me if that worked. -- Michael |
