Anyone managed to rip the live coldplay cd you get with the live dvd?

Doesn't seem to rip it for some reason..

Anyone?

If it's...*ahem*...a "corrupt CD" ...then you can try Exact Audio Copy.

Configuration is somewhat involved, but it's one of the few rippers that offers fully secure extraction.

When you get it set up and running, load the CD and select menu item...

Actions --> TOC Alterations --> Detect TOC Manually

EAC will read the table-of-contents on the CD manually, ignoring the corrupt TOC data that is initially read upon CD load. Once it does that, it should extract normally.

A bad TOC is often what makes some CDs unrippable.



Edit: oops...Ignore this post. You need EAC v0.95prebeta3 for do manual TOC reads. It's been pulled because the European recording industry leaned on the author to......um....."not help people" extract CD tracks past bad TOC's.

Okay, so 'Spies' is a great track (and some others, one or two).

But the follow-up album is terrible (and you know it).
