Broken Music on Kazaa?

Ive been increasingly noticing that music i download on kazaa is broken. It will be the normal 5meg dl... but instead of 5 min of music... its either a) repeating segments of the clip b) initial segment and nothing else or c) an initial segment followed by crazy crackles

any word on if thats a dl issue or if thats the riaa in action. It kind of discusts me that people would share so many broken files.. let alone that being legal to fill the net with worthless trash

ps sure i delete the music after i dl it (im just sampling )

People are just too lazy to delete broken tracks from their shared folders.

Pressing *delete* is far too much effort.

You wouldn't happen to be a fan of rap or boybands would you? If so, the repeating is meant to be there.

lol no like it would be the same 10 words for 5 minutes
and it would fade in and out repeatidly.. its obviosly broken..

well the thing is, i dont really understand dc++; my school uses its .. and i use it, but obviously the stuff will get stagnant if no one uses outside sources.. so hence kazaa lite

i thought the others such as soul seek was broken down or slow as shit.. not saying kazaa is any quicker.. but i just thought they used the gnutella method of being WAY TOO slow

also.. why are there files like that.. is that seriously bc of the riaa

and finally the one reason why riaa shouldnt be that worried about music sharing... if people like music they will buy the cd.. mainly because of channels and sound quality. Sure they can have a billion mp3s on their computer.. but would they be less happy if they didnt have a billion mp3s? prob not.. because either a) they can redownload them or b) they found the music to be so good that they buy the cd because they want all the channels and the clarity..

thats my view (though i delete my music... i swear)

Sometimes they wreck them on purpose. (Ever grabbed one that said "This is property of blah blah blah" or it beeped every couple seconds?)

Other times it's just an error with the connection. Chances are that the file you are grabbing is at least 30 generations old. Kazaa does not do any error checking (as opposed to Bittorrent and others) so the chance of an error occuring somewhere is pretty good.

Other times it's just some kid with nothing good to do but fuck things up and whack off. No I'm not bitter at all

emule. My not be the fastest p2p around, but I've yet to have a corrupt file. If emule finds a corrupt segment, it goes and downloads that bit again.

It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this.
