Latin House

I just discovered this genre two weeks ago, while i accidentially heard a DJ on the radio partying away....

So far i've found The Latin Project and Lazy Dog. Anyone of you music gods who knows "bands/DJ's" that plays House music with Latin influences?

A tune i can really recommend to anyone interrested in new music is

"Lazy dog (negrocan) - Cada vez (Grant Nelson Vocal Mix)" it's sooooooo cool

I have very little latin music. I guess I like white-man's tunes.

Never heard of latin house, but I am into house - mainly US/British/European.

Have you heard of micro-house?

i don't think you're an idiot, it's just that House music is a pretty big and common genre, so it surprises me that you don't know....

Couldn't really find a way to explain it myself, so here's how enc. Britanica looks at things;

House Music

Style of high-tempo, electronic dance music that originated in Chicago in the early 1980s and spread internationally. Born in Chicago clubs that catered to gay, predominantly black and Latino patrons, house fused the symphonic sweep and soul diva vocals of 1970s disco with the cold futurism of synthesizer-driven Eurodisco. Invented by deejay-producers such as Frankie Knuckles and Marshall Jefferson, house reached Europe by 1986, with tracks on Chicago labels Trax and DJ International

Doesn't sound like I'd go for that genre then, me is more into rock and metal, as you know.
