The Songs, of Secret
Ah, yes. I can still remember being hal lit and very stoned while listening to Green Day's Hit Album Dookie and not noticing that I had left the tape running past the last song (F.O.D). All of a sudden, Billie Joe starts singing softly about being by himself. I was floored. Could they do this? woa. I had no idea.
Next thing you know I find Incubus's Helter Skelter disaster running amok over my ears after the last track of S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Or Offsprings strange musings and repetitious beat. Reprises, Malibu Nights, etc. The list goes on. What others are there? What secret songs surprised the hell out of you? |

At one time I had a list of secret songs on the CD's I had at the time. But, in a fit rage, I used that list to light an ex's boxers on fire (he wasn't wearing them at that time). Should've known not to have destroyed such important paperwork on a worthless endeavor.

Theres a magazine here in Blighty that has a free cd attached to it every month with tracks from forthcoming releases on. Left it running after the last track, while stoned, and heard Homers voice..."hhhmmmm, donuts"
They have these end tracks on every cd; none make sense but all are great. It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this. |
