2. "Yeah, I know 'Tainted love', it's that song by Marilyn Manson"
(the same with every song that is obviously a cover and people that pretend to know everything only know songs from the last 2 years...) Mia

Join the words "Westlife", "are", and "tolerable". Or if you're really trying to enrage the fan, replace "tolerable" with "really talented and deserving of success".

The world is made of conflicts: good and evil, order and chaos, light and dark, hot and cold. All are essential to life. None can prevail for any length of time, or life will fail. In the end, the best any can hope for is balance. |

"Man, *Insert any high-ranked guitarist here, like Steve Vai, Kirk Hammett, Alex Lifeson, etc.* sucks at playing guitar!"
Pretty generic and simple, but use the right artist, and you're easy flame-bait!

Sack Mark Radcliffe and replace him with that inane fuckwit Scott Mills.
That's a good one. Fuckers, they are. There's no need to tell me when I'm right; I operate on that principle exclusively and with absolute certainty Last edited by dylman; 19th February 2004 at 23:25. |

True. An extension of that...
"I'm not listening to new music, it's all crap" *buys a copy of the new Travis album, which he didn't like anyway* "I knew this was crap"! *Takes CD back to the shop* 3 months later "I'm not listening to new music, it's all crap" *buys a copy of the new Oasis album, which he didn't like anyway* "I knew this was crap"! *Takes CD back to the shop* If only people would dig a little deeper and have a little more patience...

"That's not music." - said by my sister.
The problem with this is I can't really say much about the stuff she listens to. She listens to a lot of oldies, Motown, R&B, and even a little classic rock, so she has pretty good taste. |

The term "Boy Band"...
As the members don't play instruments, the word "band" is inaccurate. Let's get it right - they're not bands.

Fans and regular listeners of CAT Country aren't getting what they expect when they tune into the FM radio station these days.
Since Monday morning, the country music station has been playing the children's classic "Pop Goes the Weasel" nonstop. When the song finally ends, it probably won't be country tunes that listeners will hear when they set the dial at 106.7 FM. A spokeswoman for the Elizabethtown radio station, who would identify herself only as Pinky, said the song is promotional, "leading up to a format change" at the station. She said Bob Adams, marketing manager for the station, was meeting with "corporate visitors" this morning and was unavailable for comment. Pinky then played a recorded phone message inviting regular CAT Country listeners to hear country music on three other radio stations. http://www.yorkdispatch.com |
