Queens of the stone age kick out member

Im kinda suprised that no one said this yet... its about 2 weeks old, Queens Of The Stone Age kicked out a member of their band for, aparently, partying too hard.... i heard this on the radio and they said he would be dead or extremely exhausted if he partyed like that...

Um... they like Queens of the Stone Age?
Seriously though, they're not that good.

The world is made of conflicts: good and evil, order and chaos, light and dark, hot and cold. All are essential to life. None can prevail for any length of time, or life will fail. In the end, the best any can hope for is balance.

The most annoying type of person is the "duh, who cares?" idiot.

If you don't care, don't post. No one wants to know that you don't care or that you didn't like the band.

I bought Songs For The Deaf when it was new, and honestly wasn't enthused with it. The music is technically OK, but the songwriting and "character" of the music leaves a lot to be desired.

The only redeeming factor of the band is the drummer, Dave Grohl (front-man for the Foo Fighters). He's a musical genious, IMO. But even his talent can't carry QotSA. (Whether or not he wrote any/all of the songs.)

I was hoping it was him that had left the band, so he could focus more on his other project, but now the members of QotSA will be even busier trying to find a new bassist. Then again, Dave can play bass (he can play everything), and do track overlays in the studio. It won't help them on stage, though.

I'm a psychosomatic sister running around without a leash.

"There's no emoticon for what I'm feeling right now!!!"... more accurately, there's no emoticon for that statement. Rolleyes was the closest, but you really have to be there to pick up the sentiment.

Freedom of expression eh? Just because you're entitled to say something doesn't mean you have to say it. If this were a 'Do you like QotSA' poll, it'd be fine. But I don't show up at your wedding to tell you your wife is ugly.

I'm not even a big fan of QotSA.
