Bands (past and present) you'd have loved to see play live?
Which bands haven't you seen live, but would always have loved to?
PWEI (too late, disbanded). ![]() Stereolab Curve Primal Scream The Jesus & Mary Chain (probably too late). ![]() Mega City Four (too late, bastards)! (to name a few) Stage-diving at a PWEI gig would've been the ultimate. |

Without doubt, Pink Floyd.

Yeah, those were perhaps the stadium bands.
I prefer the smaller venues. More atmosphere. I mean, a pub will do nicely.

Bad Religion, Pennywise, Tsunami Bomb, Pretty much any punk band. We get pretty much solid country bands up here. I'd also kinda like to see Throwing Muses live 'cause I've heard they're really down to earth.

omg, to see the legendary jeff buckley would have been phenomenal. and i didnt see anyone mention the beatles.now that would be incredible. and im still waiting for steve vai and joe satriani to come to australia! i still havent seen metallica, i would have liked to see them maybe just after the black album. dc talk, crowded house and the cranberries to name a few others.
hey apola, im so proud that u like the very australian savage garden! they must be my favourite pop band of all time(unless the beatles count as pop). darren hayes is still going around, so u still got half a chance. and marvinbarcelona...id like to know how old u are, if u dont mind. |

Korn, pre-Untouchables would be better. Untouchables is when they shut down, not Take a Look in the Mirror. Both pretty bad albums. Rage Against the Machine, incredible. The DVD is awesome, if you haven't got it, buy it, quick. Scotty Doesn't Know |

There's this one part where Angus goes backstage, and you see him put an oxygen mask on and breathe some nitrous...After that, he walks into the crowd and wails away...That was cool... ![]() [edit]Oh, and yeah...KoRn's "Untouchables" album wasn't really that good, but I still somewhat enjoyed it...I liked their singles "Here To Stay" and "Thoughtless", but other songs that weren't selected like "Bottled Up Inside" was good, and "One More Time" (Although didn't quite fit the usual "KoRn" style) was a nice song that had a good melodic rock style to it, rather than your typical "RAHH!!!" thrash/nu-metal type song...

I think Niccolo Paganini would have been a great performance to see. The rumor was he made a deal with the devil for his playing ability - all other "death" bands have since stolen his idea.
The consumate showman, he would purposely file down the strings of his violin during Intermission so that way he could cause them one by one to snap - and he then "improvised" the rest of his piece entirely on the E string (The thinnest and highest pitched string)

Cylob's only jealous 'cause I have at least 10 years on him. I'm actually a very young 36 (37 tomorrow folks!) and currently dating a very attractive 24 year old.

To this day i still regret not going to the Roskilde Festival in 1996.
Some of the Line up that year was; Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sex Pistols, David Bowie, Björk, Cypress Hill, Alanis Morisette, Rage Against The Machine, Sepultura, Foo Fighters, Fun Loving Criminals, Massive Attack, Moby, Moloko, No Doubt, Presidents Of The USA, Skunk Anansie and Leftfield.[more] Think it's the stongest line up any of the Danish festivals ever had |

Definitely HIM
Queen (like it's gonna happen) Incubus Our Lady Peace Placebo Matchbox 20 Coldplay hmm... can't remember more right now... Wanted to check out Evanescence by curiosity, but gave up that idea, cause I saw them live on tv and it didn't leave the best impression. Quite a few different and poor performances in fact, so it could not have been a "bad day". |
