Mic and line in problems
Hey guys, new to the forums so whats up
Ok heres the problem, im poretty n00b to shoutcast but not to forums lol, so i know you guys hate it when a guy comes in and answers previously ansered questions... so i've spent my last 45 mins looking for my answer, but not to find it .The problem is... i use a laptop for all my mixing, (its just more convenient in my case), so i have the laptop on line in on my broadcasting comp. Ive read how to set it so that the mic turns up and down volumes when you hir "Push To Talk", but how do i use both my mic and my line in at the same time? What would i have configured with my mixers? If this question was answered before i am truly sorry, just post a link to the forum its at and ill be good .Thanks for the help, sorry for the inconvenience. |

Please post a screenshot of the laptops playback and recording mixeers.
The generic answer is in the microphone FAQ. Check out the Sticky post titled: SHOUTcast: Important Info & Answers to FAQs. READ ME! Scroll down a bit and look for the section titled: DSP Issues -> Using the Microphone with Music Look for the recording/playback mixer section. |
